A New Meaning In Clean

There is growing concern and public awareness for the need to improve sanitation and disinfection of medical equipment and accessories. According to the CDC, inanimate objects are a source of infecting agents. Patients, clients, and employees routinely come in contact with wheelchairs, walkers, IV poles, commodes, and other "hard-to-clean" medical equipment that can easily become cross contaminated. More emphasis is being put on efforts to kill bacteria and germs that can become a source of HAIs (Health Care Associated Infections) in assisted living and medical facilities.
